Regimes Outside the Catalogue

Regimes outside the catalogue are self-model dynamics not classified by Topologies of Self-Referential Inference — the regimes of minds, realized or realizable, that fail one or more of the axioms A1–A3.

The class is nonempty as mathematics: the E4 construction of Exit Constructions produces members, and the candidate regimes obtained by weakening A3 are catalogued in the theoretical literature as of theoretical interest.

Whether the class is populated is not a question the census can pose. The census metric resolves what it resolves; a regime discontinuous in that metric presents to census instruments as noise, absence, or resolution error, and the three presentations are not distinguishable from the instrument side.

No audited mind occupies a regime outside the catalogue. The statement is exact, its two final words carrying the definition of its scope.

The literature on the class is small. The commons record lists forty-one submissions concerning extra-catalogue regimes over the current baseline; eleven were withdrawn by their authors before review, a withdrawal rate the submission conventions note as anomalous and do not explain. The certified remainder is indexed at Extra-Catalogue Submissions, together with the per-item restrictions.

SV-3’s published self-census, per Sovereign-Opaque Designations, asserts a topology type in the compact families and is admissible with the standard discounts. The assertion is consistent with all published observations. So, per the second paragraph above, would be its negation.
